3 Questions to Ask Yourself When You Feel Stuck

Let's be real: even with the best intentions, the most exciting and well-thought through plans, and the most color-coded planner spreads, we all hit moments when we feel stuck.


Maybe you've lost momentum on a goal. 

Maybe life has just thrown you a curveball.

Maybe you're just...tired.

 

If you're in that space right now, take a deep breath before continuing on. You are not alone, my friend.

Life is a continuous, imperfect cycle of reflection, action, and grace. Feeling stuck doesn't mean you're failing - it means you're human. And it's an invitation to pause and check in with yourself.

 

We all get stuck sometimes

First, let's normalize this:
Even the most motivated people hit plateaus. Even the most organized planners miss a few weeks. Even the most intentional goal-setters lose sight of their "why" sometimes.

 

Why? Because life is dynamic. You are constantly evolving - your needs, your energy, your focus, your circumstances - they're always shifting. Feeling stuck isn't the problem; staying stuck is.

What's really going on here?

Before you try to "fix" the stuck feeling, pause and get curious.

 

Ask yourself:

  • Is what I'm feeling mental? (maybe you're overwhelmed or lacking clarity)
  • Emotional? (Are you discouraged, anxious or comparing yourself to others?)
  • Physical? (Are you simply tired, hungry, or in need of rest?)
  • Circumstantial? (Has something outside of your control shifted your plans?)

 

We often assume "stuckness" means we're doing something wrong, but sometime's it just means we need to tune in.

What do I need right now?

Once you know what's really going on, ask: What would help me feel supported/better right now?

 

Do you need:

  • Rest and recovery?
  • A mindset shift or fresh inspiration?
  • Practical help or accountability? 
  • Space to process or brainstorm?

 

💛 REMEMBER: You can't pour from an empty cup, friend. You are worthy of tending to your needs. It's okay to slow down. It's okay to recalibrate. You are allowed to put yourself first.

 

What's one small next step I can take?

When you're stuck, you don't need to solve everything (although it may feel like that's the only thing to pull you out!). You just need one small, doable action that creates momentum.

 

Ask yourself:

  • Can I brain dump what's on my mind?
  • When can I schedule a 15-minute power appointment to focus on one task?
  • Can I reach out to someone for support or accountability?
  • Can I revisit my monthly goals and pick one goal to reengage with?

 

🌱 REMEMBER: Your dream life is built on small, intentional steps that add up over time. Progress > perfection, always.

 

You are not behind.
